Some people aren't necessarily cut out for school. I mean, hypothetically if you're in danger of flunking your classes, it probably sounds better to say you're dropping out to focus on other things. Not to say that this applies in Yuka's case.

Well Airi and Momo are veteran, and frankly speaking probably the smartest girls in H!P. They have been juggling their work and school for 10 years, while Yuka just moved to Tokyo a few years ago to get into this idol business. Have some mercy to her. I know you want to see her as a kick-ass announcer.

When you think about it, Yuka didn't know she would be in Juice=Juice when she applied to university. She was graduating from high school and hardly had any work with GREEN FIELDS. Maybe university was the path she chose originally as she didn't have a stable career, then Juice=Juice happened. She wasn't even in Hello! Project officially yet. If she had debuted during her high school days, she might not have applied at all to focus on her idol career.

^Yeah, for what it's worth I'd imagine it's exceedingly difficult to start two very categorically different pursuits simultaneously.. even more so if both of those would normally take up a significant amount of your time and attention like academics and idol training/activities. Aside from the most intense of the overachieving sort, people would usually focus on one side first and only attempt to multitask after they've gotten the hang of it somewhat and managed to fine tune their time management around it.

The other members who went to uni have that advantage of experience while Yuka unfortunately doesn't. Yet.
That option is always open for her (and any other aspiring young members) should she want to take it in the future, I hope
