It's not that unusual for her. She colors her hair all the time. She's ranged from brown to orange before, and she also experimented with weirdly colored tips and streaks for a long time.

In fact, if anything, Captain has done more with weird colors than anyone else in Berryz. Yes, Risako did have that one phase during "WANT!", but she and Miyabi have mostly stuck to natural colors.
