Poor Kamiko. I hope she doesn't learn any really bad news as a result from it. I've been getting family from back in the States contacting me, because all they'd heard was that there was a major earthquake in Japan and they couldn't remember where I was living. Even though the song is celebrating Itoshima specifically, I do find the timing of ANGERME coming out with a Kyushu inspired song right after this happened just interesting.

There are still aftershocks in Kumamoto today. Oda says her father was born in Kumamoto. Both her grandpa and grandma still live in Kumamoto. Their house is a mess, but they are both ok. She is relieved.

Maimi gushing over Chisato Moritaka again. She went to see her 47 HARD NIGHTS concert on Sat April 23.

Here’s the picture with Moritaka Chisato-san, which I said that I would attach the other day

She took it with me after the performance

I was really nervous standing next to her, but Moritaka-san was really kind(T ^ T)

During the concert, songs that I’m very familiar with got completely new arrangements, so they sounded really fresh！！

Of course, there were songs that hadn’t changed, so I felt it was a concert both new and old fans could enjoy

I was also charmed by her singing voice which carried the lyrics
She was stylish and beautiful,
and I thought “I want to be able to talk as cool as she does

I learned a lot that day watching my senior’s performance

I also got a staff t-shirt from Moritaka-san’s concert

I wore it during rehearsal earlier

Today after the concert in Morioka, Morning Musume. '16 all went out to eat. No soba competition this time (the previous competition still hasn't been released on DVD yet). They ate Morioka cold noodles and watermelon instead.
