I think it says a lot about Miyamoto Karin and Kanazawa Tomoko that people never noticed that Uemura was hot until now.

Yeah, most of what I heard in relation to her even before Juice=Juice, seemed to be about how pretty she was. These days I catch people saying things like "second coming of Uemu/Akari/etc" for new Kenshuusei they find particularly pretty.
