Rina picks some pretty nice outfits for everyone, except Sayuki. Why did she dress her to go to the gym? Gray on gray sweat pants + loose t-shirt, complete with breast pockets. She stands out in a weird way, both against the rest of the group and the song they performed (which I was also not thrilled with).

I can think of two possibilities:

1) This is a continuation of Rina pranking her fellow olde school eggs. In one of the previous episodes she gave Takeuchi the choice of a pink outfit or a black outfit just because she knew that Akari would puke at the thought of wearing pink.

2) Takagi came up with the idea herself because she want to remind people about her "Budokan" character who had troubles because she was heavier than the other characters.

Today, TV Tokyo announced the first big artists performing at TV Tokyo's 3rd annual Ongakusai 2016 (Music Festival). Morning Musume. '16 is invited for the 3rd straight year. This year's theme is "strongest 100 hit songs in rapid succession". Airs 6/29 at 6:25pm.
