Today, TV Tokyo announced the first big artists performing at TV Tokyo's 3rd annual Ongakusai 2016 (Music Festival). Morning Musume. '16 is invited for the 3rd straight year. This year's theme is "strongest 100 hit songs in rapid succession". Airs 6/29 at 6:25pm.

Hoooly shit Ayumi's Naichau Kamo performance *_________*.

She's not perfect but she's improved a LOT since she joined, and Naichau Kamo isn't exactly an easy song so I thought she did really, really well. I really enjoyed it. Hopefully the other girls who choose solo performances for their H!S corner wins gets showcased too.

I'm so proud, guys ;_;.

^That level of Ayumi hype backfired a bit. I mean her performance was okay (just), but my expectations were elevated and although I enjoyed it overall was still slightly disappointed. I get that she wanted to sing and dance but she should've picked a lower difficulty level song I think. On the other hand Maho made the ep an instant win for me. That and Sakura hosting.

The KSS song...I guess it can't be helped that it's corny and has the word "hello" in it. I can't say I see any qualitative improvement over HELLO! no Teema.

Narrowhead-chan (technically known as "Kokoro Maeda" I suppose) is growing on me a bit.
