Wada Ayaka and Aikawa Maho are on the cover of "ART NEWS TOKYO" (Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture information magazine). In the issue, they visit the TOKYO METROPOLITAN ART MUSEUM and enjoy talking about the museum. It will be distributed for free at various Tokyo places on 7/8.

I really like Ayaka's whole "Cultured Idol" persona, it feels... unique. Is there any other example of an idol like that? I can't really think of one...

^ Another idol into art history, I don't think so. If you consider all types of art, I guess girls like Matsui Sakiko and Ikuta Erika are kind of like that with their ojousama image. Both are studying piano at the Tokyo College of Music (not 100% confirmed for Erika), and Sakiko has released a solo piano album. They don't really appear in specialized magazines like Ayacho though.
