it was announced today that Angerme and Dempagumi.inc are both appointed the ambassadors of the first ever Nationwide Anime Idol song cover contest "Ai odori-sai ~Aidoru Matsuri~" (愛踊祭～あいどるまつり～). They are accepting applications (details on the site) for performers who sing and dance cover to Anime songs. The final tournament will be at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL on 9/22. Angerme and Dempagumi are scheduled to appear. The contest's progress will be broadcasted on TV Asahi show "Music-ru" and it will take a half a year.

Music-ru announced that Angerme will be performing an anime song at Budokan on 5/26 for the first time called "Mahoutsukai Sally" (Angerme version) 「魔法使いサリー」アンジュルム ver. from the anime Mahoutsukai Sally / Sally, the Witch. The song is actually a requirement for the idol anime song cover Ai odori-sai ~Aidoru Matsuri~ contest in order to qualify to the next round. Angerme performing this song will serve as a model for those participating in the contest.

I got around to watching this, and I noticed two things.

First…

-Tsubaki factory are boring as hell. Pretty girls don't make a good group.
-Kobushi Factory are flawless though

Yup. They weren't even close. Kobushi were so much better that they kept drawing my attention from my primary display, where I was working, to my secondary display, where I had the video playing.

And second…

Even Rikako wants to know the secret of Riho's hairography.

Seriously, I can't compare Tsubaki to Kobushi right now because they JUST came out. Like, Kobushi have learned already to work well as a group together, because they've been a group for 5 months already and they've done tons of performances since then. Tsubaki on the hand, just came out not that long ago. The members probably aren't as familiar with each other yet, so that's why 17sai didn't end out as well as we all hoped it would. They're still green.

Plus, I'd like to add that most of the members of Kobushi factory are seniors from the Kenshuusei (whether it'd be H!P or NGP). Tsubaki has members that just started training not too long ago (Ami/Kiki). So of course Kobushi are going to be considerably better, they got the headstart and they have experience on their hands.

That's one thing I love about Tsunku, and I hope he teaches his predecessor. The girls aren't products to him at all. He cares about them, their well being, and who they are as people. And it's never in a bizarre creepy way, it's a completely respectful yet loving relationship.
