it is announced that Kobushi Factory will be a new regular radio personality within the TBS station radio show "Fine!!", starting April 3rd (The show airs from Tuesday~Saturday early morning at 3am~5am).

Kobushi will appear in the c in the middle of the show which begins at 3:35am (on early Wednesday morning). They will co-host their new corner with Sharan Q Makoto called "Makoto-Kobushi Factory no Radio Punch!" (まこと・こぶしファクトリーのラジオパンチ！)

1. Koi no Gondola (恋のゴンドラ) by Higashino Keigo (東野圭吾)
What is the fate of the 8 men and women who gather in midwinter?

• Originally published in November 2016.

• Ayaka says this is a rare love novel from Higashino. She started reading while thinking about it being comprised of short stories, but in the end everything is well connected. There are 8 main characters, and each has a part focused on them before it finally comes together as one story. It offers fun tricks and clever ups and downs, but there are instances where it's different from your usual mystery novel, including parts that make you laugh. Above all it's a story that is closely related to love in the present age, so she feels many people could relate. It feels more like a roller coaster than a gondola(?).

2. Kiken na Venus (危険なビーナス) by Higashino Keigo (東野圭吾)
My brother disappeared. His wife, Kaede, was an attractive and charming woman. To discover the cause of her husband's disappearance, I approached the family of my wealthy younger brother. He is confronted by her and cooperates, but as time goes by he (I?) becomes attracted to her(?). What is the mystery left by my mother and my two fathers? Where is my brother? Why did you disappear?

• Originally published in August 2016.

• Complex family dynamics reveald, the mystery of the family unravels as the story expands. Ayaka thinks it's a novel with a lot of mathematical essence throughout; misleads are impacted by demployments that in turn lead to further misleads. Although the novel seems very Higashino Keigo at first, if you read carefully you can see something new. The richness of the narrative, arousing a sense of anxiety, is presented by the skill of Keigo-san(?).

3. Ningyo no Nemuru ie (人魚の眠る家) by Higashino Keigo (東野圭吾)
Please answer; Am I the one who killed my daughter? Kazumasa and Kaoruko agree to divorce after their daughter's elementary school entrance exams are complete, but just before rehearsing for the family interview they recieve news that their daughter has fallen into the pool. A cruel reality awaits the two at the hospital, where the doctor is forced to make an unexpected choice.

• Originally published in November 2015, later re-released in paperback in May 2018 (the paperback is featured in Ayaka's recommendations).
• Has been adapted into a film, released November 16, 2018.

• This novel has recently been adapted to film. It features a family story, just as "Kiken na Venus" mentioned above, but it has a completely different atmosphere. A couple must face a decision regarding brain death. Though Ayaka has never had to face this reality, she thinks the unwillingness to face life and death is something everyone has felt. She recently lost her great grandmother, whose death was due to old age as she was over 100 years old. She felt it was the end of a happy life, but there was a moment where she thought it looked like her eyelids moved. She is 20 this year and she knows that people can move some after death, but even knowing that doesn't make death less horrific or cruel to face.

Under such circumstances, if you put your hand on your loved one and still feel a heartbeat. . are they dead? What should you do? What is living and what is dying? It's a grand theme and presents an issue felt in Japan and the world. Although it's difficult she recommends reading to the end.
