I saw a few complaints here and there, but it's way too early to form an opinion on the Budokan drama yet
It was really just an introductory episode, I forgot how short Japanese dramas are and that this will only be 8 episodes.
I'm so used to hour episodes that the 30 minutes really caught me off guard, and watching it live the commercial breaks were really excessive. But in perspective altogether thats 160 minutes (20 x , so I'm sure the drama will include a lot of things with the BS TV version even longer.

It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad, which is good! So I'm excited to see how the drama develops.

What were people expecting? It's already better than I was getting ready to settle for. Even if I wasn't invested in it because of the girls I probably would start making it a thing I'd start watching because this first episode piqued my interest. I can't wait to watch more.

I was ready to accept 'idol acting' hello morning level stuff so seeing how legit it is feels makes me happy.

next episode, it looks like Koizumi-san (aka Hayami Akari) from the Fuji TV drama Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san makes a cameo in the same scene with NEXT YOU Aoi (Uemura Akari). LOL

It is confirmed that Koizumi-san (Hayami Akari) makes a cameo in the Budokan drama. Hayami Akari and Uemura Akari are fully aware that fans talk about their similarities. Both recognize each other as rivals. Both are happy to work with each other. Though they missed an opportunity to take a photo next to each other.
