Never heard of him and Sayumi being close tbh, just being from the same hometown doesn't usually count for much either.
Good if they are, but if so I'd expect her to appear places he's at too. She appeared at London Hearts because of her hard work, not connections.
I do expect that Sayu has showbiz friends though of course, she definitely does. But showbiz people with the kind of power (and will) to help PR her/the group? Haven't seen any of that. Except Nakai, but then again that is different and probably not so much Sayu as it is Nakai and UF people.
