Seeing the Tsubaki performance live...
It was eh. Definitely, as constructive criticism, they should not go into that style of music when they debut/go indies. They should really go more towards the style of 17sai or that type of stuff, it seems to work better.

^I'll respectfully disagree I like them being able to show more power in their voices. It's a shame Kiki didn't have major lines in this one (She got more in Heroine if I remember correctly and I remember thinking her voice suited the higher energy songs). Though maybe lighter pop might be more of their style that management is going for, I do like these songs better, I felt we actually got to hear their voices in a song like this and they got to shine more with a dance that requires more sharpness. But of course we might have our own separate biases going on.

^^Girls Be Ambitious <3 I have definitely become a Yuka wota it seems at least when it comes to MVs and Performances. And watching this, I was more impressed by Karin in this recording than the time I saw her live. Also this is random and I have no idea why, but sometimes Tomoko reminds me of Yuuko with her expressions when she performs... And it's so weird seeing Aarii as the "senpai member" of this week's MC duo. I know J=J is considered a sophomore group now, but it feels like they just debuted half a year ago still.

Juice=Juice's performance was solid. They really have the skills and energy. With their awesome album and all, they're definitely climbing up in my ranking.

Felt like I should clarify what I meant..

I didn't mean they should go for lighter pop, I meant they should go for more of a fun/happy direction, like Wonderful World or Be Genki, where you can still have hard songs and songs that show off voices. (Wonderful World, for example.) I think they just shouldn't be doing the "cool hello" look, at least not as of yet, they just fit the style of the happier songs.
I agree with you whole-heartedly on the "showing power" part, though! I love that in H!P songs, I always wait for songs that test skills.

Also, if you understood that that's what I meant from my first comment, then never mind this post. xD (It just seemed to me like it was hard to understand that from my first post which was a bit ambiguous.)
