So like, has anyone ever heard of any of these groups? o.o (i'm not talking about in japan.)

I've heard of/read various things about 10 of them without even trying (while checking up on news, music sites, youtubers, etc). I've only heard songs from about 5, but I don't listen to any of them regularly or keep up with their activities.

@Berryz yeah Negicco are well known. Tochiotome25's ex member Takase Kurumi just joined kenshuusei.
They're indie idols, so Angerme are miles ahead of them considering they're having their Budokan concert soon.

Nah, I got ya -- they aren't super duper unknown, though. They're mostly local idols, although several of them have had their major debut (from both events). But unless you're pretty into idol groups it's not surprising that people haven't heard of them, lol.

You'll Melt More! are pretty fuckin' amazing, by the way.
