You don't need anyone to shoot you, you'll die anyway from watching the cuteness overload of that duet.
They really have a click. I think that Ayacho sees a bit of her younger self in Maho, being the "weaker" girl of the 3rd generation. Just like Ayacho was in the original S/mileage.
It was not the only interesting but right choice of sub-groupings in the concert. The Kanon, Kana, Katsuta & Murota combination is also pretty obvious, as that is Maro's click.
