Press conference at "Pony Canyon" for Minako stage play starring Tamura Meimi. Hayami Yu, who was close friends with Minako, is supporting Tamura Meimi after she heard her voice singing "Amazing Grace". Tamura Meimi's first public appearance in 9 months and her first job since graduation. She feels nervous and a lot of pressure for this role.

After the event, Tamura Meimi started to cry because a letter arrived from Minako's mother telling Tamura to do her best as Minako.

Some of the news also claim that she officially quite UF last year (we saw her profile removed but it has never been officially confirmed by UF) and is now running freelance with no manager or management company support. This job was possible because of her previous contact with the director.

We will never know why she did not renew her contract with UF, but running alone in Japanese show business is though. Even those freelance announcers still attach to management companies that specialize in freelance. I hope she found someone who is willing to sign her with satisfactory agreement.

I'm very partial to that song regardless of who sings it, and then she sang it so well and it's Meimi. My emotions!!!

Meimi will surely join a musical/theater agency eventually, most actors in theater start out freelance.
