Sayu blogs about joining Morning Musume. as 6th gen with Reina, Kamei, and Fujimoto 14 years ago (Jan.19th, 2003). It is the most important day of her life. She loves Morning Musume. She says Morning Musume is the best and 6th gen is the strongest.

It's difficult to tell how famous or popular she actually is. China is a big country, after all, and rather inscrutable to most of us. But these are not small, low-budget productions, and she's been in several of them over the last few years, albeit in supporting roles.

I don't know how much longer she can believably play these ingénue characters, though. She's pushing 30 and it shows.

Upfront Sapporo's Miyoshi Erika announced on her blog that she has given birth to a healthy baby girl yesterday. The baby now shares the same birthday with Ishikawa Rika (January 19)

Tamura Meimi has been cast to play Honda Minako (former idol/singer who died in 2005 to a form of leukemia) in an upcoming stage production.



Fun little fact. Minako also happened to play Eponine in Les Misérables and was also cast as Fantine, but died before that run of the musical. And you know how much Meimi loves Les Mis.
I'm sure she's excited to play this role. Hell, I'm excited FOR her. I loooooved Honda Minako!

Tamura Meimi announced on twitter that she got the starring actress role in the stage play "Minako ~Taiyou ni natta Utahime", a story about Honda Minako, one of her favorite singers. She says it feels like a dream and can't believe it. She had tears of joy when she got the news. She will perform at the CBGK Theater in May 17th~21st 2017.

Kinda hope there is so Meimi can reach that level.

I'm so happy for her... She sounds like she absolutely loves Honda Minako. (yes, she has a . at the end of her name, it's important, dammit!) and I'm sure she'll do the role justice.

It also sounds like it's a pretty big production. Get it, girl .

Meimei is a BIG fan of Honda Minako. I am very happy for her!
