I don't get these promotional events. I mean, I understand that the media come to interview the talent(s) about whatever, and the company pays just to have their product and/or logo in the shot while the media and the talent(s) talk, but… does it actually work? It seems rather casual and unfocused, compared to American-style celebrity endorsements.

Former Kenshuusei Kosuga Fuyuka is getting back into the entertainment limelight again. She joined an agency called Japan Music Entertainment (JME). Her last public appearance was on twitter and her short twitcast videos of her daily life in 2014. She since stopped and deleted those and went back to private life to study. Shes 18 years old now.
