I'd like to hope that Kago was invited to Yossi's Wedding as well, but either couldn't attend, or couldnt be photographed lol.

I think pretty much everyone from Berryz looks happier nowadays, which is a little sad because I miss them so much.

I don't know what it is, but part of me is surprised and even a little upset that Yossi ended up marrying a man.

I was not even 1% surprised.

Yeah, I know what you mean....I mean if she's actually straight then good for her, but she can't claim that she didn't tease at being lesbian for many years.

I'm not being crude/funny in the least, But she was my favorite back then because i thought she actually was one
those behind the scenes videos are very misleading...

Just because you're boyish and a flirt doesn't mean your a lesbian
. She was surronded by girls like 98% of the time, of course she's going to have fun and utilize her tomboy persobality to the best of her ability. There are many "feminine" females who are lesbians and tomboy females who are straight.

^ I don't think people thought she was a lesbian just because she was a tomboy. People thought she was a lesbian because she pretended(?) to be into girls, and when asked about it, would give coy responses. Which on the one hand is maybe "just" entertainment/fan service. But on the other hand is kind of treating being a lesbian like it's inherently transgressive and just a form of entertainment. Instead of being an actual role model for lesbian fans, she's really just having fun at their expense. Similarly to the recently controversial "
Dead Lesbian Syndrome" trope, in which lesbian relationships are treated as disposable plot devices, her lesbian chara is just something she put on when convenient and shed when inconvenient. Which I could see as being disappointing. The Japanese entertainment world seems to have made room for gay, crossdressing, and trans performers. Not so much for lesbian performers, as far as I can tell.

If I remember correctly, Yossie's response to "are you a lesbian" was "no". And, supposedly she had a boyfriend before she joined MM and broke up because she didn't want a long distance relationship.
