She was gonna debut as a solo singer produced by SharanQ. Which they did, but to create curiosity they chose not to show her on TV for a month while preparing for her debut. But in that month the Morning Musume project was born and the viewers grew fond of those five girls. So when Heike debuted it wasn't that big of a deal and not many people cared.
