Posted: Fri Oct 24, 2014 4:57 amWell, the Japanese media has always been unforgiven to misconduct of entertainers ever since I remember. What she did was completely wrong, and she admitted it. My personal opinion is why now?. But later is better than never. The questions is how much she can regain her popularity. Practically, she is out of the wide shows because those are gear toward housewife, and they never want someone who committed adultery on those kind of shows. But she still has some chances on variety shows, focusing on talents and comedian. I am sure we will see her on London Heart. Astsushi, one of the MC duo of the show, is very supportive of her coming back.

At this rate, ManoEri might end up becoming the most commercially successful OG. This Patlabor gig has gotten her a lot of attention over a long period. (We've posted only a fraction of the videos here. There's a new episode in the theaters every month, with continuous promotion throughout.) Tsuji was the queen for a long time, but family life has mostly taken her out of the running. And Aichan has more talent and creds, but she's gone artistic rather than commercial.
