The amount of work Mano has been getting (in a "professional" capacity no less) really (pleasantly) surprises me. Considering her sales-level within H!P (not really her fault, the era of the solo-idol was before her) I largely expected Mano to fade into obscurity.

I guess it helps that Mano is actually a decent actress and not really an idol trying to be an actress. This gives me hope that UF* is actively trying to cultivate their talent to have careers post-idol. Lovendor is another good example; they may not necessarily be massively popular but shows that UF* has a self awareness about the idol business and that Reina probably couldn't be another OG doing OG work but neither could she be a soloist.

I would say that Ai-chan and Gaki-san also get the same amount of works, if not more, than Mano, but they are stage actresses while Mano acts for film and drama (because, yeah, she is not a strong singer), and Mano just get more media coverage because of that.

'Cuz she has been always amazing! I still have some great hopes for a future music release of her, apart from her truly succeeding acting career. I mean, one one hand, looks like she's hella busy those days @_@, which is awesome, plus she looks really happy like that, though on the other hand, she also enjoyed a lot her solo career in H!P and I have that feeling that she not only would love to release something like a "Mano-album" somewhen in the future, but she would also be able to pull out something amazing <3 There's a hoping : )
