About Mari? She just has a really bad reputation ever since the scandal in 2013 (cheated on her husband with a younger guy). It became so big, that she had to disappear from the public eye for quite some time.

Look, we all fall from grace at some points in our lives. Some of us fall farther and hit the ground harder than others, but we all take that tumble, and and not just once, not by a long shot. There are no angels here -- just us fallen humans, and it would be silly for the show biz world (in Japan or anywhere else) to cast Mari out for things which, whether anyone here likes it or not, are just daily life in the entertainment industry, not to mention everywhere else.
(And if you do somehow manage to go through life in a state of unblemished virtue, and you look down on those who haven't done so, that's your fall from grace, and it's just as much of a fall, and just as hard and awkward an unvirtuous splat as anyone else's. Nobody in this world is an f-wording angel.)

Never mind that what actually happened is none of our business, nor does it have anything to do with her work ethics so honestly? We have no reason to be upset about anything.
I for one am happy Mari is back cause I always liked her as a talent and seeing her getting involved with H!P too makes me even happier so, yay!
