Ah, thanks.

Still seems so weird to have all those subsidiaries still effectively under one umbrella agency. But I guess they have their reasons.

I assume Bitter&Sweet would be under UF Create?

Has Koharu been up to anything noteworthy lately? I haven't been keeping solid tabs on her.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel that Manoeri's popularity has skyrocketed this year. Has it?

She's getting steady work as a mainstream actress in high-profile productions, but it's almost always in supporting roles, so… *shrug*

As far as I can tell, she's limited by the same issue that most idols-turned-actresses have: she's too cute and petite to have much presence as a leading woman, but she's not young enough anymore to pass as a teenage girl.

Sayumi's official statement on the upfront page. Resuming activities in Spring 2017 to be a performer on stage. She is getting her body into shape and working on her vocals and getting dance lessons again.

It really feels like she should come back on 2/22... but that's a full month before "Spring" so it seems unlikely.

^ Japan has an informal holiday known as setsubun which is the day before the beginning of the traditional spring season. Next year setsubun is on Feb 3.

Oh! I suppose that makes sense, being that all the ume and sakura trees bloom in Feb, and that feels "spring"-y.
Renewed hope! XD
