For Ichii Sayaka, I actually found it cute, but I have no fond whatsoever with her as I became a fan of MM much after her leave the group.

She was already an ex-member when I discovered the group, too. But she was the first Musume that I knew by name, because I discovered CUBIC-CROSS when Morning Musume。was to me just an undifferentiated bunch of Japanese girls. At the time, I didn't even know that Sayaka had ever been in Morning Musume。

When I first discovered the group she was one of my early favorites (along with the rest of the 2nd and 4th generations). But nowadays I feel like there was nothing memorable about her. Ah well, she'll always have Otome no Shinrigaku.

I don't know if they'll necessarily pick her, but for press' sake, them letting her pass makes sense. They can play up an MM-AKB rivalry more that way.

If she does make it, maybe she can be the basis for an SDN48 part 2 when she has to graduate in August. I am still holding out hope that they'll bring them back
