Awww poor Zukki and Maa-chan. I hope Zukki's injury heals properly and in a timely manner. It's a shame she can't take part in the concerts but I'm always pleased when I hear that the members are given time to rest instead of being forced to perform.

Now why would management force them to preform in such a state, especially Zukki??? Seriously.

I haven't heard of it happening in UF, but I think some agencies push their girls to the limit, so, even if they're hurt, they're still made to perform. I think a lot of the time it's probably the girls being like "No I'm fine I'll do this I don't wanna disappoint my fans!", rather than management going "Hey you, I don't care if you're fucking dying GET THE FUCK OUT THERE!" or something.

From memory, UF has always responded to injuries well and does let the girls rest if the doctor recommended it. Aika was a different case because, IIRC, she already had quite brittle bones or something similar which nobody knew about, and after she broke her ankle (or whatever it was), it couldn't fully heal even after she rested properly.

That can be pretty messed up. Maybe said girls are encouraged to downplay injuries in those kind of agencies. A plausible deny ability like thing maybe??? Who knows.

And yeah, Aika did have brittle bones.

What happened with Sayu? Was it just a leg cramp and not an injury? I've been a bit light on the H!P news front lately. Just busy.

Aika had no choice, really. It was either graduating as soon as possible or ending up with lifelong injuries. I remember someone even said she could be wheelchair bound if she kept going on. :( I hope Zukki will recover fast.

Considering their next single for '15 doesn't have a release date yet. I'd hope they would take this into consideration and hold off till February for release. Which would give Zukki enough time to heal and go straight into promotional work. Which in a way would be good, give the new girls more time to practice.

According to the video with Reina explaining on Music+, it was just a leg cramp and Sayu would actually get them quite often due to what she explained as not having enough muscle strength, it would just need to be massaged and taken care of (and she'd change to sneakers), but because it was her last concert she wanted to just push through till the end.
