I don't remeber the instrumental break routine being so awkward? But great performance. Sounded better than the studio recording !!!

in the past, Music Japan didn't allow artists to sing and engage the crowd like C-ute did, "Say!" and "Come on!" and point their mics to the crowd, like they do in concerts. i guess they could do it now without any time constraints?

I think for older songs like Kiss Me Aishiteru it gets built into their performances where they get support from the crowd. Newer songs, you don't expect them to do that because they are promoting the song. They don't need to promote the Kiss Me song, it's more they are promoting the experience of a C-ute concert.

Kiss me aishiteru the song itself is much more well known than C-ute by general public in Japan. I'm sure part of the audience recognized the song although they didn't know C-ute before. The reaction from the crowd is great.
