I really like the Power! I honestly don't get any Berryz vibe from it and I have no idea what you guys are talking about. Is it the Asian theme? I actually was reminded of a really old Morning Musume when I heard it the first time. I love it. C-ute has a mature adult feel to them and I think they will do well with this song. Doesn't feel like Berryz style at all.


Also I think this may become my favorite C-ute single since Adam to Eve. Their last two singles were great, but of just didn't get into them. I see my self downloading this one and repeating it on my iPhone playlist.

I actually really like this. It doesn't feel like a-side material, and I don't think it works with KH as the other a-side. But it's still very very good.

so i was listening to it like 10+ times trying to like it, and i like it now.
not liking the choreography too much atm, like the chorus isnt that fun to dance and mimic at all even though it is one of those types of songs.
i hope the dance version is better. not an instant fav like other C-ute releases, but it takes a while to warm up to. if the MV is great, its gonna be a great single. but they need to release it early, and start promotions early because it takes a while to grow to like (or in my case it did) especially since there's so much pressure for it to be good and unique when its coupled with a re-release.
if this had been released as apart of another single without Kanashiki Heaven I reckon I would've instantly loved The Power.

also idk why but Im specifically bugged by this dance move, just because I've seen used a lot.

It's C-ute's diet song. All H!p groups not named MM will get shitty songs and now it's C-ute's turn.
Diet song is actually a good song just not accepted that easily by people.

Ehhhh I just didn't enjoy it in general. Like, it's not because it's too weird or anything because I sometimes love the shit out of "weird" songs. The lyrics aren't what bother me either, because I really don't give a shit about lyrics in general (if they're good, that's great, but I'm really not expecting much from idol lyrics -- sorry, Tsunku). For whatever reason, the way the song was put together just made me... really not like it at all. I've tried to like it, but I just. Can't.

(I honestly don't like hating H!P songs, and really, the majority of them are really good. Most are bearable at the least. But occasionally, there are those songs I just hate and I have no reason why.)
