I don't know why I always get excited as the end of the application period for an audition approaches, knowing by now that we won't get any real information again for months.

They start using social media for updates, and then they just forget to use it. Sorting all those applications can be pretty boring for updates.

Kaga Kaede

Kaga Kaede had never danced before her audition. So she watched Morning Musume dance shots and imitated them.

Kaga says Morning Musume's songs are fun to dance and sing to. Even you don't have confidence, try applying anyway. Would dancing alongside me sound fun?

Makino Maria's audition story

during the "Self PR" part of the 11th gen auditions, Makino wanted to show how much she loves Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters baseball team. She showed off what it is called the "Inaba Jump", a fight cheer song named after a famous player.

Makino faced her audition challenge with the motto of giving it all you got.

She really wanted to join Morning Musume. She auditioned 3 times.

Dream that the dream will come true.

Harunan also reminds about the audition deadline coming up.

Harunan was an active member in Morning Musume until 2 months ago. She says their greatest strength is "individuality" and being "serious". Everyone try finds to something different, trying to do their best on their own, but when it comes to performing, they come together and unite.

Sato Masaki

Sato Masaki says she was afraid of the place where they stayed for training camp. The dance and vocal teachers were also scary.

But, Tsunku was so interestingly funny!

Sato's world changed when she passed the audition and she had a lot of emotions. It was fun.
