the announcement is that S/mileage is the image chara for Akihabara Electric Town this summer for the 2nd straight year. they represented both Winter and Summer campaigns since 2011. last year, they held a mini-live and are planning another special event again.

Morning Musume FC tour in Hawaii 2012, 8/29

in addition to the MM Fanclub tour plan, they have added original optional events to add to your Hawaii tour plan with Morning Musume. You'll get to see Hawaii tourist attractions with them and enjoy the views, go shopping. they divided the events into three courses. deadline is 7/2

course tour 1. Reina, Riho, Ayumi, Kudo - shopping plaza, Moanalua Gardens (If time permits, Pearl Harbor as well)
course plan 2. Eripon by herself - Izumo Taishakyo Mission of Hawaii, Moanalua Gardens, Byodo-In Temple replica
course plan 3. Sayu, Mizuki, Zukki, Haruna, Masaki - Moanalua Gardens, Halona Blowhole Lookout, organic foods store, Diamond Head

if it was Sayu instead of Reina that would be my top 4 in Momusu. i'm not sure if i should be glad i'm not in the FC so i can't pine over missing it, or cursing that i'm not rich enough/in Japan to try to go. and LOL that Eripon is now trusted to carry a group on her own. that FC bus tour thing leveled her up in popularity and as an entertainer.

Eripon is getting a huge push towards the wota. Which is a smart move. Those like Riho (and Ayumi) can reel in casual listeners/fans with their knack for performance, Zukki can take part in variety shows when she's old enough, Haruna can be a model-idol, while Eripon caters to the hardcore fans. I'm not really sure what niche Mizupon, Haruka, and Masaki will fill though...
