Not a bad concert. The group is starting to build some chemistry and Morning Musume is starting to feel like it has character again. Some members have improved performance wise too which is cool. Haring Ikkimasshoi was cool it feels like they don';t use that song enough on tours.

Also nice to see Aika take part in quite a few songs. Seems they are doing their best to include her for her last run.

Ultra Smart comments:

~ Has someone been giving Sayu singing lessons? She actually sounds tolerable here, ESPECIALLY in Goodbye Natsuo, which is a hard song to sing and I expect her to butcher. She did not. I was surprised.

~ Riho has picked up a vibrato, this makes her voice sound immensely better, but I don't think she's very good with ballads (Namida... and Silver no... she sounded her worst on, while the faster songs she sounded her best). Keep up the vibrato Riho, it's good.

~ In the 10 gen vs. 9th Gen sing off - 10th wins. Hands down.

~ Mizuki has a nice sweetness to her voice that I enjoy, same as Masaki. I think both of them are going to grow into Eri-like voices, which would be swell.

~ Ayumi has power in her voice, but lacks control, some of her notes hurt. Speaking of power, it's time for Kanon to learn a vibrato as well. She has the power and can sing, but she's hurting by not using her diaphram and that vibrato more.

~ Haruka is decent, but I honestly expected her to be a bit better because of her egg training. She can definitely sing though, I',m going to ADORE her voice in a few years.

~ Haruna CAN TOO SING OMG

~ Eripon, sadly, cannot

anime seiyuu Uesaka Sumire went to the Morning Musume concert last weekend, bought Sayu's shirt and Uchiwas. she was looking at everybody especially Ayumi and her dancing. she said the concert was wonderful and she got to meet everybody backstage.

"Mousuma (モースマ), the name for the new members of MM and S/mileage, will have an interesting fan club event this summer. Over the course of 4 nights, the 12 new members will be placed into shuffle units of 6 members, with each member performing twice. Each night will have a variety of attractions which will serve as a competition for a later fan club live in which the members who were successful in the competition will get to lead more than the members who did poorly. The event's name is "~Gachi-Kira~"

Preliminary events (at Yokohama Blitz):
June 15: Fukumura, Ikuta, Ishida, Kudou, Nakanishi, Tamura
