Honestly I don't see much of a remake. A bad first time photo with horrible lighting vs a better photo after some experience with better lighting and less nervousness.
Will have to see more to see a "remake" effect imo.

1) She needs to work on that face so the doesn't look too meh.
2) Ponytails doesn't work on her.

In my opinion the ponytail looks like a good look for her. But agreed she needs better facial expressions. Notice how she's the only one not to show teeth out of the Kenshuusei, she needs to smile a little more than that, or at least show some sort of emotion besides anger or seriousness.
