Yeah, I've seen a lot of people say "oh they're so boring now!", but that's pretty much how they started out.
Their lyrics are always on point, though.

Speaking of boring things:
Spoiler: show

I love Spica; they're super talented and have amazing harmonies. Boa was even a vocal trainer for some groups.
I was looking forward to this ~sub-unit~, but the song is so typical of Brave Brothers. Even the choreo is typical of a BB song.
It doesn't even showcase their vocals at all, which is a shame. :|

I haven't liked a Spica song in awhile either, i kind of checked out after Painkiller. But now that someone pointed out Boa on Lovey-Dovey that's all I hear now :mikihead:

Guess who's back :0

Seems kinda more mature than their previous period, though the LP influence is quite noticeable.

Also, as always I'm the last one to discover those things:

Starra's faves, LGM, were on Utage recently.
Fast-forward to about 2:15 for the live presentation

Manaka (the Karin-haircut one) is still 13.

I just want to add parenthetically that Mayuyu is (to me) a surprisingly competent host. She doesn't come across as a haplessly inadequate idol who they stuck there for the cute factor. There's not all that much to the job, but to the extent that reading teleprompter announcements and light banter requires skill, she takes it seriously.

^ Good for them! :thumbs-up: That's not an album that comes to mind when I hear the words "World Music", though. XD

^^^God, they're SO GOOD. I'm kind of jealous because they sing like that and they're all younger than me, but at the same time I love them SO MUCH  .

Also, this reaction shot made me laugh:

Dude one the right is like "What.... WHY ARE THESE GIRLS SO GOOD?" lmao.

EDIT: Their debut single sounds really good, and so do they, so have a studio live:

EDIT2: I stumbled upon this a cappella performance of Seasons of Love. "Perfect" is an understatement.
