I'm hearing some talk from my AKB fan friends that AKB is starting to see cracks in it's former impenetrable wall. Dunno how true that is, but it's nice to see H!P beat them in SOMETHING hahaha.

look at the amount of concerts they needed to reach that number. Clearly does not support the fact that they sell over a million each single. :O
unless, of course, they just do smaller events constantly that hold less than 5,000 people.

If those numbers include their own theater shows in Akihabara, then yes. As I understand it, they do almost daily theater shows and then just a few arena concerts each year.

However, as I understand it, a large part of their sales is for senbatsu votes, so it should be interesting to see how Oricon counts that now.

I would think they would have to include the theater shows with that huge amount. Anyway, Nogizaka's numbers are up there so Akimoto's business model is for better or worse still solid. But it looks like the real threat to both Johnny's jimusho as the premier Japanese boy idol organization, and to AKS as the premier girl idol organization, is from the LDH (Exile/Egirls/J Soul Brothers/Generations) group. Although, strangely, in terms of single sales E-girls look more like C-ute's than Morning Musume. They've only had one single crack 100k, Gomennasai back in 2013. Same with Momo Crows, who's also only had one 100k, back in 2012. and Kana Nishino, whose physical singles have never reached 100k although she's had several "million" selling digital tracks. What they have had, that MM consistently lacks, is album sales in the hundreds of thousands. I'd guess that a more accurate marker for potential concertgoers.

Speaking of which, Dreams Come True, how wealthy must Miwa and Masato be at this point?? Just last year they had a best-of album top 900K. They're unstoppable.

4. Yanagawa Nanami - I love how together she is. She comes across as an "ojousama" type of girl and yet seems very kind.
5. Kamikokuryou Moe - I'm not sure why, she just interests me a lot.
6. Kaga Kaede - Please debut...
7. Ozeki Mai - Hard to believe she's only 14.
8. Kiyono Momohime - My princess who will one day be H!P's future ace.
9. Onoda Saori - I've completely fallen for her.
10. Aikawa Maho - She's pretty weird. And just pretty.
11. Ono Mizuho - A cute squish.
12. Ishida Ayumi - I still love her!
13. Kishimoto Yumeno - I feel bad she's not my fave Tsubaki anymore but I still adore her.
14. Miyazaki Yuka - She's plain but she's a good plain.
15. Iikubo Haruna - This spot could go to a lot of girls but I felt like giving it to Iikubo because people don't seem to love her enough.
