S/mileage has thoroughly disappointed me this year and it really bothers me because 4 nin s/mileage had a moment where I loved them more than Berryz and C-ute...

I think the same as well. Dot Bikini is their worst single yet, and I hope it doesn't repeat. I liked Suki yo though, and thought they were going back into business, but they come up with this unmemorable song, it's not bad, but can't be compared to their best ones (which were always 4-nin songs)

Anyway, the costumes are cute, but don't really fit the theme, maybe with dance shots it'll be all better, let's wait, but I'm not holding my breath

The covers....are all so ugly. ;_;

The first one is the best imo. I would change the order of the girls though.
I'd keep Cinderella where she's too, because that's pure win. Leave Dawa where she is, being the ace and all (and looking REALLY good, and I'm not even much of a Dawa fan). Switch Takechan with Rina, Meimei with Kanana, and then voila! Perfect cover.
