I don't enjoy ballads and I feel I've heard the other one a million times before elsewhere.

Arigatou ~Mugen no Yell~ sounds so mainstream. Like, they are trying to fit themselves into the traditional Jpop sound or something. I enjoy it as a ballad. I've always been a fan of C-ute's ballads.

I'm not feeling the other song though. :\ Still, after listening to it again.

we got so many guys working on this song collectively now. no mention of a Hoshibu Shou yet. There was also a mysterious figure who didn't show his face, but they showed the back of his head @36:36.

Well, they show his face multiple times, but they didn't name him. He seems to be managing the recordings + pause/playing them for the directors/arranger.

Also, aside from him, there's that guy sitting behind him, but there's also a brown haired girl there, both of who are also unnamed. Are they anyone we already know?

I like it overall, but there are abrupt transitions all over the place, and some pieces of the song don't fit together that well. Maybe I'll get used to it eventually.

^That's how I felt about a few H!P songs, like WANT and Toki wo Koe.... and eventually it sounded normal to me, so I'm pretty sure you'll get used to it c:

personally, I find Arashi to be OK, it's gonna be the selling point for the single, for sure.
But I can see the MV as just being them in front of fans blowing at their faces and some water here and there and dramatic shots. (if it's not, I'll be happy. xD)

And about the other unnamed people in the studio. They are probably just the recording engineer, studio assistant, or something else along that line. The regular staff in professional recording studios. They are not making the music, they make the recording of the music happen.
