Omg are they finally doing shuffles based on color? That's so exciting! I think everyone has wanted that since forever.

Morning Musume. '16 - Hare Ame Nochi Suki (Sakura gumi)

Holy crap! Wow! Morning Musume did a fantastic job with this song. It suited everyone's voice so nicely. I think maybe Ogata was the only one that was a little bit shaky on her one line, but besides that Eripon has improved immensely (I want to see her in a few years becoming leader and proving herself to be incredibly reliable like Sayumi did), Akane is still doesn't stand out in the group much but her voice is sounding really good and I can see her moving closer to the front in a few years, also who does those first few lines in the original because Mizuki sounds just like her!

^Takahashi Ai started the song followed by Kago Ai.

^^ I agree 100% with everything you just said there. I was very impressed with how Mizuki duplicated every nuance of that vocal riff. It's too bad she's not a bit more charismatic because she's beautiful and sings well yet she doesn't really give off a front girl vibe, to her detriment. Duu, even though she doesn't sing as well, has an interesting vocal tone that draws me in more, and she sells her performance in her facial expression. Miki's the only one who I would say is struggling at all vocally at this point. I mean other than Ayumi who's not so much struggling as attempting to carry a bit more than she's really capable of.

^ I have to argue that Mizuki did better overall than Takahashi, Kago, or Nacchi, singing those lines. Her expression just win it. She was really into the song.
Re Nonaka: really? I think she did a pretty fantastic job?

^ Maybe I'm overcritical here, so if you feel that way, that's great, on both counts. Especially with Mizupon the more appreciation she gets the better, as far as I'm concerned. Also your avvy fucking kills. :y:

I think the song suits her singing, instead of most A-sides that MM has nowadays

What a fucking world. If this doesn't end up on the DVD/BD I will be mad because holy fucking shit, thank you based UF gods. I don't even care that Mizuki and Rina are there because this is an amazing shuffle and I will never ask for anything else this year.
